Basic Processes

The Consultancy and Services I offer both rely on basic processes that are valid in almost all the cases. And even as I believe that no process is as important as the person performing the required actions is always a good tool, if you can remember some principles.


An effective sales process can be described through steps that walk a salesperson from meeting the prospect all the way through closing the sale. Often a bad sales experience can be analyzed and shown to have skipped key steps. This is where a good sales process mediates risk for both buyer and seller. Following the different steps of a sales lifecycle also has the dramatic impact of forecasting accuracy and predictability in revenue results.

 PRoject Management

Project management is the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.

A project manager in the industry  typically has the responsibility to plan, execute and close any project based on agreed timelines, cost and quality. He achieves this managing all different functions contributing to the project as well as all stakeholders expectations.

PM Process

Traditionally, project management includes a number of elements: four to five process groups and a control system. Regardless of the methodology or terminology used, the same basic project management processes will be used.

  • Initiation
  • Planning or development
  • Production or execution
  • Monitoring and controlling
  • Closing

Each of these steps may be divided into sub categories. In engineering environments projects stages may be supplemented with decision points (go/no go decisions) at which the project's continuation is debated and decided.
